Owner and buyer Diana Day has always had a keen eye for women’s fashions. As a teenager in London she launched her own painted chiffon clothing line, which was sold in luxury department stores from Harrods to Fred Hayman in Beverly Hills. Diana also designed the stage clothes for the lead singer of the progressive rock band, ”Yes.” She learned the business of the fashion world as the house model and personal assistant to the visionary designer Thea Porter.
In the early 1980’s Diana traveled to America and found her home among the palm trees of Los Angeles. She purchased Encore in 1991 which has been a thriving mainstay ever since. Her dedication to beautiful clothing and superior customer service makes Encore a “must visit” destination during your next trip to Malibu.
